Summary: We had a wonderful time at La Coudraie. The house is quirky, but very comfortable and we enjoyed using the garden and pool. (Some sun-loungers would be a welcome addition in the garden) We visited Monet's house at Giverny and I would highly recommend a trip there, especially if you can then go into Paris to Musee D'Orsay where there are some of his paintings. Our only problem was that the internet stopped working on our 4th day and although I sent a text (in French) to our property manager she didn't respond and we had to contact VRBO to get a contact number for the owner. He did try and resolve the issue but it required a new router which sadly didn't arrive before we left which did make it difficult to plan some visits to ticketed attractions but we managed. This house is ideal for a large family group with loads of space in the house, conservatory and garden.
