Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a beautiful old house in a stunning country location, we only stay one night and hadn't travelled far but felt think a true "escape to the country". We stayed in the double room which is very spacious and the bed so comfy. Nice bathroom just down a very short corridor, no bother and we had sole use. Previous reviews mentioned no blinds in the bathroom however you are in the middle of the countryside, not even sheep could see you!! Both Lucie and her husband are charming and very welcoming. We slept like logs and Lucie made us a very tasty bacon sandwich before we left.

Negative: That our stay was so brief, we would have loved to have had more time to take a walk in the stunning country side.

Summary: An excellent escape to the country!
