Pets are allowed by prior arrangement. Many excursion possibilities are in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Koblenz, Trier, Klotten animal and leisure park, Cochem, Eltz Castle and many other castles). From Pommern there are beautiful hiking trails through forests and meadows, as well as good cycle paths along the Moselle.
