Drake is a quaint, two bedroom terraced cottage with lovely garden and patio area looking right out to sea. Families and/or friends can enjoy a barbecue outside, and relax in the hot tub, or enjoy dinner with panoramic sea views from the sunny conservatory. The cottage has two bright upstairs bedrooms, a double master bedroom looking out at sea, and an airy twin room. This cottage lies just moments away from the two pretty beaches, Finnigook beach, which is dog friendly all year round and Harbour beach which has restricted access for dog between April and October. Both beaches are popular with surfers, walkers and spear fishers, or just those looking to relax and soak up the sun! Portwrinkle lies at the end of the Whitsand Bay Peninsula, affectionately known by locals as “the forgotten corner of Cornwall”, being as it is much less developed by tourism and remaining, for the moment at least, a bit of a local secret.
There is parking for 1 car, and this is located outside the garages alongside the cottages.
Guests can book into our Spa (Sauna and Steam Room) facilities. This is free for all our guests and can be booked in 1 hour time slots, making it private for your use during that time. The Spa is a 5 minute walk from Drake and directions are sent via email with the booking confirmation.
Please note - In order to keep the cost of booking down, we no longer require an upfront damage deposit payment of £250 for any of our properties. Instead, the card details used to make the booking are securely stored with our payment provider and in the unlikely event of needing to make a claim for damages or excess cleaning, we will notify you before deducting the amount from your registered card. We're also pleased inform you that we are able to provide flexible payment options that suit you to pay the balance of your booking.
