The bedroom boasts a comfortable queen-sized bed adorned with quality linens, promising a restful night's sleep. The modern bathroom is sleek and contemporary, featuring a walk-in shower.
Ground floor:
Being an upside-down house means you sleep on the cooler and darker ground floor. Curtains are used on this floor as a continuous element, minimizing the inside-outside that separates the sleeping area with access to our small urban "jungle" from the wall-to-wall closet (with office space) and the bathroom. Should it get chilly just turn on the underfloor heating.
First floor:
This light-filled open and undivided floor features the kitchen-dining area and the lounge area where the huge floor to ceiling corner window is great for people watching. Or enjoy some me-time with one of the 2500 books in the house.
Location:
For your morning exercise the stunning Ruskin park is just around the corner. The house is also just 15min walk away from Brixton where you can find great bars, restaurants and pop-up stores. It has excellent transport links: 11min by train to Blackfriars for the Tate Modern, 35 min to Buckingham Palace.You have 4 train stations in walking distance: Loughborough Junction, Denmark Hill, Herne Hill, and Brixton. Try some new ales, IPAs, pilsners, or lagers at one of the 4 microbreweries within a 10min walk. However, Peckham isn’t far either, where you can check out The Coalroom, one of London’s best restaurant. Tough choices to make.
