The two beaches at West Bay, 6 miles away, are backed by Jurassic Coast cliffs – made famous by the TV show Broadchurch. The fossil-hunters' haunt of Charmouth is 12.5 miles away, and you can reach Lyme Regis, with its iconic Cobb harbour, south-facing beaches and winding streets full of delightful independent shops, in just under 16 miles.
