Positive: Villa Ma Mie – A Scenic Gem with a Breezy Twist Villa Ma Mie is a true retreat for those who appreciate breathtaking scenery and a peaceful escape. The house itself is simply gorgeous—beautifully designed, well-maintained, and offering a welcoming atmosphere that immediately feels like home. The location is nothing short of stunning. Nestled in a lovely, scenic spot, it’s close enough to the beach to enjoy leisurely strolls along the shoreline. However, be prepared for the wind—it adds a dramatic element to the setting, though it may be a little strong at times. One of the unexpected joys of our stay was the friendly neighbour, who added a lovely touch of warmth to the experience. And with plenty of ramblers passing by, there was a sense of connection to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Overall, Villa Ma Mie is an idyllic escape for those who love scenic landscapes and don’t mind a touch of sea breeze. A gorgeous home in a picturesque location

Negative: Some areas of the house had cobwebs, particularly large ones in corners, which could have been addressed with more thorough cleaning. The duvets, upon stripping the sheets, revealed stains and marks—something we only noticed upon departure, but replacing them might improve the experience. We also had a bit of a plumbing issue. The shower flooded on the first day, requiring a maintenance call. Thankfully, the issue was resolved within about 90 minutes. The downstairs shower had no hot water throughout our stay, but we managed without it. One important note for future guests: be sure to check the booklet regarding fees and terms before you leave. There are conditions that need to be actioned before departure, and you may risk fines if they are overlooked. It’s worth reviewing carefully to avoid any unexpected charges.
