The space Located on a beautiful and quiet tree lined street, our place is a ground floor garden apartment in Brondesbury (North West London) that is high end, spacious and bright. The apartment is suitable for families or alternatively can accommodates 6 adults sharing. It is comfortable, welcoming, light and spacious. The apartment has a large and colourful living room, where our family love to chat and relax. There are two comfy sofas, coffee table, cable TV and great wi-fi for you to enjoy. One of the sofas doubles up as a pull-out bed for extra guests.The open plan living area is also home to the dining area which comfortably seats 6 and looks out to the garden. Top tip: try out the fab farmer's food market in nearby Queens Park (10 mins walk), open every Sunday. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils and equipment you need including: Miele hob, oven and dishwasher, fridge freezer plus microwave. There are two bedrooms in the house both with super comfortable king size beds. Both bedrooms are very spacious with homely touches. There are built in wardrobes in each with plenty of storage space for guests to store and hang all their belongings. Hairdryer and straighteners are also provided. The bathroom is bright and contemporary in style and has a bath (which really is a treat in central London!). The bathroom will always come stocked with plenty of white fluffy towels and all the essential toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and hand soap that you need to ensure a comfortable stay in London. Finally there is a basement with washer/dryer etc all tucked out of the way. The apartment comes with a high speed wi-fi, cable TV, baby bath and hair straighteners. There is also a combi washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Guest access The apartment is your own. Cleaned professionally with fresh luxury linens, it's prepared for each new visitor. Brondesbury is known for its wide tree-lined roads adjoining bustling Kilburn High Road. Kilburn is what is known as an up and coming area. It is the home of author Zadie Smith and is extremely well connected to the city! On the Bakerloo line, Kilburn Station (which is less than 15 minutes walk from the flat), you can get to Oxford Circus in 15 minutes! You can also get to Paddington Station in 5 minutes, which has the Heathrow Express and takes you to Heathrow in just 25 minutes! It's the easiest way to get to my place from Heathrow. Some of the best cheap local eats are close by. Try some Afghan cuisine at Arianna II. The original Arianna is in Manhattan and is super cool! Then there is my favourite Thai restaurant in the world called Spicy Basil. On most days, you will find locals queuing outside this joint. If you are looking for an authentic local pub, head to the Black Lion. With high ceilings and baroque artwork, this pub is quite a setting for a beer. Unparalleled resources, such as 3 high-street supermarkets, an Argos, several restaurants, bars and cafes, one hardly needs to search beyond Kilburn High Road for a bargain. Getting around There is a multitude of options for bus, train and overground near the apartment. It is a 1 minute walk to bus stops either outside the Blacklion pub on Kilburn High Rd and on Willesden Lane. The Kilburn tube station is serviced by the Jubilee line, and it is a 7 minute walk away (and only 6 stops in Bond Street for amazing shopping)! Kilburn Park tube is a short bus ride away. Brondesbury Overground is 5 minutes walk. A great local tip is to download the Citymapper app. This free app will plan your journey for you efficiently and quickly. It gives you a variety of different transport options such as bike, rail, tube and Uber taxi. It will also take you step by step through your journey as you travel and notify you when you are nearing your destination. Other things to note The home can sleep 5 adults comfortably. The sofa bed is quite small and can fit 2 young children or 1 grown adult. This is why the listing title says "4-6 people". -Please note the flat is on the ground floor and there is no elevator in the property.
