Summary: The biggest advantage was that the hotel was quiet at night. The biggest problem was that there are no kettles in the rooms. I've been in hotels without kettles in the past, but they always had at least some communal space *on each floor* where one could prepare a tea or coffee for themselves. In this hotel - none. There is a coffee machine at the reception which has a sticker asking for 3.50 EUR for a coffee. They let me use it for hot water for free, which I did, but it was super inconvenient to have to go down 2 floors just to get some hot water (especially that my room was far from the elevator and stairs, so it was at least 3 minutes down and up), while being carefully observed by the receptionists. Ridiculous.

Summary: This property is not really for tourists but for those attending conferences and seminars in the locality. Room facilities are minimal. High point is the excellent breakfast. it is not convenient if arriving from Berlin Airport - either a very expensive taxi ride or a long, one and a half hour, trek across Berlin.

Summary: - Basic Hotel - rooms and breakfast are okay, shower was old
- Air conditioning was not working
- Cleaning staff knocked on our door on our checkout date at 9.30 and I told them that we‘re still in there, but a man used his card to get into the room anyway while I was standing there in my underwear and he told me that he has to clean the room - very inappropriate and disrespectful

Summary: We booked this hotel because my son was a guest speaker. It is a university hotel near the Frei University. This is a good hotel if you want to visit the Dalem Area. Berlin center is about 35-45 minutes away by either UBahn or Taxi. Hotel room was nice, and staff helpful and friendly.

Summary: The hotel and room itself was OK and functional which is all I was looking for. But while checking in at 2:15pm (usual check-in time is 3:00) I was asked to pay 15 euros if I wanted access to my room. The hotel was empty, my room was clean and ready. I was so turned off by this that this will be my first and last visit to this hotel.
