Summary: Corniglia was the perfect base for exploring the Cinque Terra. Don't be put off by the steps from the railway station- there is a cheap shuttle bus if you need.The accommodation was comfortable and clean, situated almost at the very end of the main street near a public terrace with a look out over the sea. Beautiful sunsets! We were in the downstairs appartment with the kitchen roght outside our door, and as we never saw anyone else use it it felt like our own. The kitchen has facilities to make hot drinks, sandwiches, simple breakfasts. No cooking- there is a full sized fridge however.Checkin was fine, with the only problem being that upon arriving in the town we still were yet to receive the door code. This was fixed with a phonecall.
