Summary: I chose this hotel for 2 nights as it was quite close to the Grotto and the Lourdes train station/ bus stop to the airport. I guess I got what I paid for. I went during 30degC- super hot! When I entered the room, there was a foul smell with a hint of cigarette smell infused in it. We had to keep the windows open for some time to air out the room. The room overall was okay- it did the job for 2 nights. It was quite dusty, and the bathroom didn’t look very clean. There was no air con- just a small bedside fan. And in that heat, you definitely need an air con to have a comfortable sleep. The staffs were pleasant and breakfast was good too. If you’re there for one night and don’t want to spend a lot of money on your stay, then this is the place. I was only a 15 min walk to the grotto, and 10 min to the station. There were local shops nearby too. Overall, thank you for having us. We enjoyed seeing Lourdes but I don’t think I will be back to Majestic.
