Summary: Staff really helpful and friendly, and breakfast was reasonable. The hotel is quite dated but the room was comfortable and clean and was a good base to explore Rome for the price we paid. The area around the hotel looks a bit run down but it feels safe and really comes alive in the evening with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Expedia says check in is 12pm, its actually 2pm. We stayed in a 4 bed room and again Expedia said there was a fridge in the room which was incorrect - no fridge. The advertised air con in rooms is centrally controlled by the hotel, and we found it to be very inadequate in August and the reason we have given the hotel a 3 star rating.
