THE DAIRY at the Baconnerie Farm: In the heart of a quiet village in the Bessin region, 20 km from the D-Day landing beaches, this large, detached, 5-bedroom house, made of stone, wood, and earth, has been restored and features an enclosed garden, barbecue, and garden furniture. It is certified as a 3-star Gîte de France (French Gîte) and a 3-star furnished holiday accommodation, and is suitable for guests with reduced mobility. A large enclosed meadow with children's play area is nearby. Internet access is available.
Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove and electric convector heaters, and the gîte is well insulated.
On the same 3,500 m² site: 3 other independent gîtes with 4, 5, and 7 bedrooms, and a reception room for 50 people. 44 beds are available.
