The Space:
No.76 is a charming Victorian stone built cottage which has been finished to the highest standard for comfort in order to enjoy your seaside escape.
On the ground floor, you'll enter into an entrance hall with a winding staircase, with a cloakroom and a downstairs WC in a hidden alcove beneath the stairs.
LIVING ROOM
Turn left at the end of the hall and head into the cosy and welcoming living room. This room will certainly feel like home and there is ample space for your whole party to relax together as there is a comfy three seater sofa and two armchairs providing comfortable seating. Whether you’re keeping up with your favourite shows or playing games, you can retreat here after a day at the beach to spend quality times with your loved ones.
DINING ROOM
Then take a further step through on this floor to the dining room and kitchen. The dining room is contemporary and stylish, providing ample seating for all guests. There is a dining table and chairs, making it the ideal space for enjoying an evening meal with your loved ones, or for socialising and entertaining.
KITCHEN
With sage grey painted wooden kitchen cabinets and traditional oak worktops, the kitchen has a traditional feel with a contemporary look which is shaker in style. Fully equipped for all self-catering staycations, it boasts an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, dishwasher & espresso maker.
GARDEN
Off the kitchen is a walled private courtyard. From here you can access the functional utility room where you will find a washer and dryer. To the rear of the property is a landscaped garden.
BEDROOM
Back inside, take a jaunt upstairs and you’ll find two spacious bedrooms and the family-sized wet room upstairs on the first floor. The front bedroom features a comfy wooden framed king size bed so you’ll enjoy your sleep at No.76 with the bed also boasting plush bedding and premium linen. There is a calming feel to the space with a light colour scheme and splashes of dove grey.
Head to the second bedroom and you’ll find an equally charming space. The crisp white walls are matched with a Victorian marble wash-stand. There is a comfortable double bed with the same premium bed linens.
BATHROOM
The family wet room is ultra sleek. Ideal for families and couples, there is a shower, a basin, a WC and a mirrored bathroom cabinet.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
Marske-by-the-Sea is a delightful village located on the North Yorkshire coast, less than 10 minutes from Saltburn and Redcar. The village square is packed with independent businesses, pubs, micropubs and restaurants. Nearby is Marske Valley Gardens where you can explore walkways lined with beautiful flowers. Head to Marske Sands and you’ll find a long stretch of gently sloping sandy beach. The famous Cleveland Way snakes its way across the cliff tops and along the beach to Saltburn and beyond.
Neighbouring Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a great place to visit during your stay. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
You can also find popular villages and towns such as Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby further along the coast.
Getting Around:
No.76 is within walking distance of all that Marske has to offer and within 30 minutes drive time of Staithes, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Marske Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Marske. Hop on the Arriva X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby.
