Welcome to our home!
Our maisonette is spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. It has been recently completely renovated, and we have installed all-new appliances.
We love antiques and have furnished our home with a mix of family heirlooms and great finds from around the English countryside.
The upstairs is an open-plan reception, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast nook. The reception gets lots of light through a large, south-facing bay window.
The breakfast nook looks out onto our beautiful garden and has steps leading down to it.
Because a good night's sleep is essential for you to make the most of your visit to London, the garden bedroom has a 160cm wide (US Queen / UK King) bed with a super comfortable breathable, 100% natural latex and spring mattress with cotton linens. The beds have also been fitted with hotel quality linens to assure your utmost comfort.
The bedroom has air-conditioning, a rarity in London, and the French doors in the bedroom open onto our private garden.
The second bedroom has a single bed with a trundle that can be made up as a 160cm wide (US Queen / UK King) bed.
If you choose to use it only as a single bed, then a cot and changing table can be accommodated. We have a full size cot / toddler bed and changing table available, which must be requested to be setup by the cleaning crew before your arrival, or you can bring your own.
There is a full bathroom (shower, tub, double basin vanity, toilet) and a further understair WC (basin, toilet) just down the corridor from the bedrooms.
The rear garden is an oasis in the city, with flowering plants all around, a dining table and chairs, and a large sofa for reading or drinks. The artificial turf perfect for children to play on.
We also provide you with fresh towels and free eco-friendly toiletries for your convenience.

The neighbourhood is a traditional West London village, with Victorian terraced houses and a pub on every other corner (we have our favourite - The Andover Arms). Some of the streets are known for their climbing roses, jasmine and wisteria.
We are around the corner from a little cluster of independent cafes, wine bars, shops and restaurants. The buttery and flakey chocolate croissants and cappuccinos at La Cave around the corner are great way to start the day!
About 5 minutes walk south is Hammersmith, which has supermarkets and high street brands, as well as a hub for the District, Hammersmith & City, and Piccadilly lines.
These can take you straight into Central London in only about 20-30 minutes.
Most of the top London sights are along the Piccadilly line: the Victoria & Albert Museum, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, the British Museum... and of course the buzzing areas of Soho, Covent Garden and Piccadilly!
However, you needn't get on the tube to see some of the London highlights - Only a 10 min walk south gets you to the Thames river path, with the historic Hammersmith bridge under which the annual Oxford-Cambridge boat races take place. The riverfront is lined with traditional pubs and is a must-see in the area.
A 15 min walk north is Shepherd's Bush, with the Central line as well as Westield, one the top shopping centres in Europe with all the designer and high street brands and department stores.
To get to us from Heathrow Airport, the most direct route is the Piccadilly Line to Hammersmith, which takes approx 40 min. From Gatwick Airport, take the train to Victoria and then the District Line to Hammersmith, a total journey of approx 1 hour.
This is a self check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in between 3PM-11PM. The key pick up and drop off point is approximately 2 minutes walking distance from the property.

Also note that we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :)
We do have a dog and two cats, which will be away at the sitter's during your stay. While the animals are rarely in the garden bedroom and the property will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, our home still may not be suitable for people with dog or cat allergies. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 smoking fee, at minimum.Please also note we do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
