La Pernelle is a Monuments Historique Site close to Barfleur (6 km), Saint-Vaast-La-Hougueand the island of Tatihou (4 km), both part of the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008. Both are seaside resorts walled by Vauban. The landing beaches of Normandy are 25 km away and Gatteville has a lighthouse with 365 steps, 52 windows, and 12 landings. Cherbourg-Octeville and the Cité de la Mer are also close by. You have so many things to visit! New for 2013: on the same level as the bedrooms are an open plan kitchen, dining room, and living room. It can also be rented as a Gite per week. Close to the restaurants the Panoramique (800m) and the Routier (150m). Sweet and salted tarts, croquet-monsieur, drinks, crepes and ice creams nearby. Pizzas are on Friday on the square of the Routier. Bike rental with security deposit, from one hour to the full day (electric ones can be rented at the tourist office). Cats and dogs are welcome upon booking (the ones that are used to travel) for an additional fee. We have two bedrooms for a maximum of six people. Two family bedrooms with a private bathroom for each (2 additional beds can be added). Outdoor shower for the pool heated in July 2015.
