The apartment is right next to Portobello Market, with good access to transport links (both bus and London underground). There are great restaurants and bars nearby. The space is newly refurbished (mid-2016) and can sleep 4 in the two double beds with an extra 2 on the sofa bed. Great for visitors, families and business travellers. It benefits from lots of light and nice views as it is on the fourth floor. It also has a huge TV and fully-equipped kitchen. Complete with hotel quality linen, fresh towels and toiletries for extra comfort! The Space: Welcome to our home! The apartment is a top floor flat (via stairs) of modern design, with lots of natural light. It was refurbished in mid-2016 and the interior is brand new. In the 1970s, the apartment was a recording studio that belonged to the composer who worked with Pink Floyd on their early work. The cosy living room features a TV and sofa which can extend into a sofa bed. The well quipped kitchen has all mod-cons, including a stove, oven and fridge. Along with a microwave, kitchenware and coffee machine, everything is set up for you to prepare a lovely home cooked meal! The 2 double bedrooms have ample storage space and the full bathroom has a bathtub and attached shower. We are fairly obsessive about cleanliness and you should find the apartment in excellent condition. We have the space professionally cleaned between each visit. Guest Access: The entire apartment is yours for the duration of your stay. We will be there for check-in and check-out. The apartment is at the top of four flights of stairs. Interaction with Guests: My home is in the hands of GuestReady, a property management team who work hard to make sure your stay is smooth and comfortable! They will be available 24/7 should you have any questions or requests during your stay. The Neighborhood: Notting Hill, and in particular the Portobello area, is one of the most fun parts of London. It is a neighbourhood with a real sense of community and lots of interesting places to go, eat or drink. We've written a little guide with all of our favourite places which you will find in the apartment when you arrive. Getting Around: To reach the apartment by public transport, you can take the Hammersmith and City Link towards Hammersmith and get off at Ladbroke Grove. There you walk up the road (left out of the station) a few blocks and the apartment is on the other side of the road. This is very convenient for access from Paddington (for the Heathrow Express) and King's Cross St. Pancreas (for the Eurostar). The area is also very well served by a number of different bus routes. Other Things to Note: We've installed a huge flat-screen TV and a Blu-Ray player in case you should want to bring some entertainment with you. If you have a NetFlix login, you should be able to log in directly to your account with the television remote. This home is on the fourth floor with no elevator. Guests are welcome to check in any time after 3pm, but please be aware we do charge a £30 late check-in fee from 10pm to 8am.
