Rose Cottage offers two large bedrooms, one super king double and one twin, a bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower, large lounge area, honesty bar & galley kitchen.
All our cottages are fully equipped with a tea and coffee tray, television, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and individually controlled heating. H2K toiletries are provided in all the rooms.
The Cottage is split over two floors with bedrooms upstairs and bathroom, galley kitchen & living area downstairs. There is a second television in the super king bedroom.
Allergenic bedding is available on request.
This is a dog friendly room. Please note for all bookings from 1st March 2022 we will charge a supplement of £15 per room, per stay for all guests bringing a dog with them.
The Durham Ox is a traditional 300-year old pub, family owned for the last 20 years. We are situated in the historic village of Crayke, North Yorkshire, with breath-taking views over the vale of York and a charming view up the hill to the medieval Church. Crayke is 25 minutes from York City Centre and in the heart of Herriot Country. The bar area has an original flag stoned floor and oak panels on the walls, as well as the bar fitted by the local woodcarver that bears his name and still takes pride of place. With several roaring fires alight in winter and an outside balcony & courtyard for summer dining the pub oozes atmosphere.
Five of the bedrooms are converted farm buildings. Blue & Green offer a double room with en suite shower room, seating area, tea and coffee making facilities and L'Occitane toiletries. In addition Rose our Large Cottage Suite is spread over two floors with two bedrooms, one super king double and one twin, en suite bathroom and separate shower, relaxed sitting room and a galley kitchen. Lavender & Field bedrooms both with super king size beds and bathrooms that have a bath and separate shower. The Studio Suite is located above the pub and offers spacious luxury accommodation with 600sq feet of space, a super king bed, en suite bathroom, sofas, flat screen television, kitchen and honesty bar. If you like the idea of being slightly more independent, yet only a stone's throw from The Durham Ox, Ivy Cottage is an ideal option for you, with 3 bedrooms it sleeps 6 guests.
