Conveniently located in Limehouse, it will be easy to pop into some of east London´s trendiest spots like Shoreditch and Brick lane by public transport. The living area is bright and airy with natural light streaming in through the glass balcony doors. Step outside in the morning and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before you start the day, or curl up on the sofa and catch up on some TV back inside. It’s a welcoming and inviting space which also boasts a brand new gleaming kitchen. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time here. All the appliances are modern and easy to use making rustling up some home-cooked meals a breeze. The master bedroom features a soft pastel colour palette which is brightened by the light which enters in through the floor-length exterior window. At night, roll down the blind and switch on the bedside lamp to create a cosy ambiance. The bed in here and the one in the second bedroom is made up with luxury hotel-quality linens, and both rooms have plenty of closet space so you don’t have to live out of your suitcase; you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. Freshen up in one of two modern luxurious bathrooms - enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake yourself up in the mornings with a refreshing shower. White fluffy towels and toiletries are provided! Neighborhood This trendy and sought after neighborhood is close to Canary Wharf and the Square Mile of Central London (the financial centres of London) and the O2 and ExCel centre (large entertainment and convention arenas). Often described as a being a ‘village in central London’ with fantastic transport links - central London is only 25 minutes away via public transport - Limehouse is a Londoner´s favorite because of its rich history as a centre of trade and workers movements. Limehouse is also full of maritime history, all of which can be discovered in the Museum of London Docklands. This is an excellent child-friendly interactive museum with a delicious cafe for a bite to eat after a full day of explorings. Also excellent for children is Stepney City Farm with farmyard animals and daily activities. Finally, you can feel a sense of the history of the area by visiting the beautiful St. Anne’s Church, designed by one of London’s most famous architects, Nicholas Hawksmoor. There are some fantastic local coffee shops and restaurants. Husk Coffee and Creative Space on Commercial Road is a community favorite and Yurt Cafe at Limehouse station offers an authentic Mongolian experience with coffee and cake. For a delicious Turkish restaurant, visit Kirvem, also on Commercial Road. For a special evening, you can find Straight and Narrow, Cocktail and Piano bar by the Marina. The beautiful and elegant art deco Troxy venue regularly hosts large concerts and other events. Finally, less than 1km from Limehouse station is Billingsgate Market; the only market in London dedicated to fish where individual buyers compete with wholesale fish merchants for the best deals on the day’s catch, fresh from the North Sea. Transit There are three tube stops within a 10 minute walk from the flat: - Mile End on the central line takes you straight to central London in only a few stops. Westfield Stratford is only one stop away - Stepney Green on the District and Hammersmith lines take you direct to Kensington, Sloane Square, Marylebone, Kings Cross for trains further afield and the City - Limehouse DLR take you quickly to the City, Canary Wharf, or City Airport Buses 25, 15 and 205 are nearby, which take you straight into central London Other things to note: - Please note the flat is on the fourth floor with elevator access!
