Summary: The hotel was in a good area and the tube station was literally a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel was fine for what we needed it to be as we were up in London to attend a local hospital appointment and this was the closest hotel at a cheaper price. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We did say to them when we had finished our visit that the fridge would need to be check as the items we had left in there were warmer than when we had put them into the fridge and had put it up to its maximum level ! The gentleman behind the counter said that this would be looked into. We asked for a lower level room which was what we got over looking the road, but when the double glazed doors were closed, we hear very little traffic noise. The one downside was that despite turning the radiators off when we arrived as we noticed that they were on, the heat still carried on coming out, so we presumed they had an over-ride facility and that they were set to ocome on at certain times of the day. That being said we were in a more expensive area of London. There were breakfast facilities, although kind of onsite this was run independently of the hotel. We didn't eat here in the end, but a few doors up on the same side, was an excellent breakfast in La Brioche. This comes highly recommended. We did have a recently re-fitted bathroom which had been replaced to a good standard.
