On the way, you will pass the Prince of Wales public house which is next to a duck pond with views over the heath and of the village. From Blackheath station, there are trains to London Bridge take 12 mins/Charing Cross 20 mins (Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace). Or the Riverboats in Greenwich take about 15/20 minutes to get into central London. 10 minute cab ride to the O2.
