Very spacious, bright, tastefully and high-quality furnished vacation apartment on the top floor of an art nouveau villa built around 1900 and last modernized in 2022.
Thomas-Müntzer-Straße is located in the so-called western suburb directly adjacent to the city center. The buildings impress with their richly decorated, lovingly renovated exterior façades with ornate bay windows, turrets and dormers from the Art Nouveau period. Here you really do live like in Weimar and can sleep peacefully at night!
The centrally heated apartment offers approx. 90 sqm of space for up to four adults and one child aged 12 and over. It consists of a large living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with access to the large, covered balcony. From here you have a wonderful view over the rooftops and the green courtyards of the neighborhood. Naturally, the apartment has free WLAN.
There is a spacious bedroom, which is furnished with a 1.80 x 2.00 m double bed. The flat screen TV in the bedroom is equipped with Chromecast, so you can watch movies, photos or even music from one of your devices on it. There is also another room where guests can sleep on either a sofa bed (1.30 x 1.90 m) and/or a double mattress (1.60 x 2.00 m). There is another sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) in the living room if required. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub and shower, and there is also a washing machine and clothes horse.
The fitted kitchen has a stove with ceramic hob and oven, a large fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is also a coffee machine, coffee grinder, kettle, toaster, food processor, espresso maker, hand mixer, bowls, pots and pans, cooking utensils, sufficient cutlery, beautiful crockery and glasses.
The apartment is only about 750 m from the Frauenplan (Goethe's house). The nearest bus stop (line 2) is a two-minute walk away, the best bakery in Weimar (Brotklappe) is six minutes away, the nearest museum (prehistory and early history) is seven minutes away and the Goethe-Schiller monument is eleven minutes away.
A private parking space is available on the property on request. We charge 10,00 Euro per night.
The cultural tax of the city of Weimar is 1.10 euros per guest and night and is payable on arrival.
If you like going out in the evening: the trendy bar “Salon Konetzky” is just around the corner (350 m), our “favorite Greek”, the restaurant Apollon, is just 500 m away, and you can have a very good breakfast - except of course in the Brotklappe - in the Erbenhof (800 m).
If you like walking in the countryside: Poseck'scher Garten and the historic cemetery, Ilmpark and Kirschbachtal are all less than a quarter of an hour's walk away and are waiting for you!
