The decked area outside the front and side of the lodge is a great place to relax and enjoy an alfresco brunch or BBQ supper, while your youngsters will be chomping at the bit to get to the play park located at the far end of the beautifully maintained shared grounds.
The area surrounding the lodge is a haven for walkers. Pick up the South West Coast Path at Polruan (2.5 miles) or take the circular Hall Walk starting at Bodinnick (0.5 miles) and then the short ferry ride across the river to Fowey, a picturesque harbour town with quirky shops, and cafes. Looe and Polperro (within 10 miles) are home to lively harbour communities and seafood eateries.
