Here you are situated in an elevated position, in a wonderful part of southwest Scotland, where you can admire stunning views over neighbouring countryside. The Bothy is all on the ground floor with either steps or a ramp to the front door. The open plan living space makes the cottage a very desirable place to be; light, airy, spacious and beautifully furnished throughout, with a modern kitchen offering all appliances you would expect. Just off the open plan living space is the bedroom, with super kingsize bed and luxury en-suite shower room, you may struggle to decide which part of The Bothy you’d want to spend more time in.
This beautiful holiday home is ideally placed for you to explore the wider area. Enjoy miles of stunning, dramatic coastline, with secluded little bays and sandy beaches; historical buildings; splendid National Trust Gardens and supreme mountain biking to more challenging hill walks. A meander round the picturesque little villages of Rockcliffe and Kippford, with their breath-taking sea views, is a must. For those with the shopping bug, why not visit the county town of Dumfries, or Gretna Green Outlet Village? Or for a day trip, take a train station at Lockerbie, heading out along the west coast main line. The historic cities of Edinburgh and cosmopolitan Glasgow are easily reached within an hour. The area really has something for everyone!
