Everything is brand new and works perfectly, and is of very high quality. Being an ecohome it is always warm during winter and stays nice and cool during summer, and ventilation and heat recovery provide a pleasant living atmosphere. The house is furnished with a collection of mid twentieth century retro furniture and lighting, and the house has natural solid oak timber floors throughout.
The house has a whole host of features that help to make it sustainable, including: rainwater collection for flushing of toilets. huge levels of insulation, heat recovery systems, LED lighting throughout, roof mounted PV solar energy monitoring, and is constructed using sustainable materials.
