2 Bedroom House in Kentish Town, London
A picturesque little terrace, boasting a simple, contemporary aesthetic and adorable patio garden, this two-bedroom home offers a welcome respite within reach of the city. Tucked away on a quiet residential road in Kentish Town, there's a handy plethora of transport links on your doorstep, plus close proximity to some of North London's most popular pockets - including eclectic Chalk Farm with its attractive Victorian buildings, and cool Camden with its famous market and tantalising eateries. And if you're feeling up to a slightly longer stroll, the leafy trails of Hampstead Heath are just twenty-minutes away - the perfect excuse to sample a handful of the neighbourhood's ubiquitous vintage gastropubs along the way.
A traditional Victorian terrace, complete with cottage-style windows, period-style fireplace, and charming walled garden, this inviting home is given a modern uplift with crisp white interiors, sleek contemporary fittings, and a light peppering of bold colour. The open-plan living room and dining area is a shining example of this, with its fresh, neutral palette accented by colourful chairs and vivid artwork. Sink into the cushy blue sofa for a night in front of the tele, or enjoy a relaxed family meal around the six-seater dining table. A few steps beyond is a well-furnished modern kitchen, combining clean lines, marble surfaces, and smart contrasts. Through a cheerfully colourful backdoor you'll find the little patio garden with its sprinkling of potted shrubs. The light and airy aesthetic continues upstairs, with two bedrooms that effortlessly blend a clean-cut, minimalist style with a warm, inviting cosiness. The principal bedroom deserves a special shout-out, with its double windows, chalky tones, and super-king bed offering the closest thing we can think of to being enveloped in a cloud.
We love...
The upstairs bathroom, with its jazzy geometric tiles and polished white walls, would be our first choice for a relaxing soak in the tub. And although it's not yet pictured, there's a handful of garden furniture on its way that will transform the garden from pleasant-to-have patio, to indulgent relaxation station.
Home truths:
One of the many little touches to admire in the living room is the well-curated book selection - just please be careful with them, as many are of special personal value to the family. The third bedroom will be closed off to guests. The super king bed can be split into two singles if you'd prefer. Although there aren't any photos yet, garden furniture will be added to the patio and another single bed to the second bedroom. Smoking is not permitted inside or in the garden so if you're a smoker, this isn't the home for you.
Please note, Veeve homes are lived-in homes, which we think adds to their charm! Guests should, however, expect to find homeowner belongings and personal items within the property.
