Welcome to my home! My beautiful 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house is located in a quiet mews in Vauxhall. As well as a private garage, you have access to a garden and you’re only a 5 minute walk away from Oval tube station. You will be wonderfully close to the heart of London, public transport, two parks and some great pubs. You are within walking distance of the River Thames, Tate Britain, Westminster, the Oval Cricket Ground and more. I hope you enjoy your stay! Space My charming 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house is the perfect base when visiting London. Conveniently located in the vibrant area of Vauxhall and with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle! The property is located on a quiet mews, tucked away from the busy neighbourhood. It is a peaceful and quiet spot. The property even comes with a garage for off-street parking. The living area is light and airy with a beautiful, classic design and lovely finishing touches. Relax on the sofas and make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back. There is also a dining table and the glass doors lead out into the private garden. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the kitchen. All the appliances are easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! There’s also a dishwasher to make life easier. Upstairs, the master bedroom has an incredibly comfortable King-size bed. You don’t have to live out of your suitcase; plenty of storage room means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. The second bedroom has a double bed. With all beds made to hotel standard with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? You’ll also find the third bedroom here; a single bed with further storage space. Freshen up in the lovely family bathroom - why not enjoy a soak in the large tub? White fluffy towels and toiletries are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests will have access to the entire property including the private garden and garage. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! Neighborhood The Fentiman Arms is a good pub, just by the exit of the mews. The Canton Arms is an excellent pub, which is about five minutes walk (get there earlier to get the best food). There are some cafes (e.g. Oval Lounge) very close by on the Clapham Road. There is a curry house (Mumbai Delight) at the top of Fentiman Road. If you're prepared to stretch your legs a bit more, the Prince of Wales pub in Cleaver Square is a nice spot in the summer to site outside and watch boules being played. And the numerous pop-up restaurants in Brixton market are well worth a trip. Vauxhall Park (very close by at the end of Fentiman Road) has a lovely lavender garden in the summer. We are a five minute walk from the world famous Oval cricket ground. It is well worth seeing if there is a match on whilst you're here. Slightly further away, the Tate Britain, Lambeth Palace and the Imperial War Museum are all within a half hour walk. The world famous Brixton Academy music venue is close by. Brixton market and high street are well worth a visit Transit Oval Underground station is a five minute walk. It is on the northern line. Vauxhall Underground and train station is a ten minute walk. The tube is on the Victoria line. There are bus stations at either end of Fentiman Road. Other things to note: - Please note the flat is on the ground floor and there is no elevator in the property.
